The Department of Design proudly sponsors an annual exhibition highlighting its senior students' final projects and portfolios. Their work highlights diverse specialties, including Communication Design, Fashion Design, and Interior Design, each featuring unique focus areas within their respective disciplines. This online presentation demonstrates our students' extensive knowledge, skills, and abilities. It allows families, friends, faculty, alumni, industry partners, and prospective students to appreciate the seniors' work as they embark on a new career.
We serve our students by focusing on their intellectual and creative growth, fostering each student's practice, and preparing them for lifelong accomplishments and meaningful contributions as culture creators. The Studio Art M.F.A. program frames the individual needs of each student through the development of conceptual, aesthetic and technical skills. While in the College of Visual Arts and Design, students participate in ideas and practices across disciplines while engaging in the critical practice of the fine arts. The "MFA Catalog" is an annual publication reflecting the work of the students in that year's graduating class. Look for the next catalog in September of each year.
