Passion Lighting Seeks Three Inside Sales Associates

Grapevine, Texas — Passion Lighting is currently hiring three inside sales representatives for immediate openings. Full-time positions are preferred, though part-time candidates will also be considered. As Tarrant County’s largest award-winning lighting showroom, Passion Lighting serves premium builders and designers throughout North Texas.

Job Description

The Inside Sales associate is primarily focused on working with retail and designer customers, as well as select builders and their clients, in selecting all aspects of interior and exterior lighting for residential projects, including new construction and remodeling.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with no experience to several years of experience in design or customer service
• No license or certification required.

Hours

• Monday through Friday

Compensation

• Hourly position
• Approximate annual earnings: $45,000–$55,000 

Job Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales associate, you are responsible for selling primarily to retail and designers and their clients, servicing accounts and assuring a high level of customer support. Working in an award-winning showroom environment, the Inside Sales associate will be expected to meet with the customers who visit the showroom; select products including finish, type and sizing; price the same product and develop complete and accurate orders; maintain relationships with current and previous professionals and provide excellent support and order follow-through.

Other Responsibilities for the Inside Sales

• Greet customers in a professional, timely manner throughout the workday, ensuring a total positive experience
• An ability to support retail customers with a wide variety of needs
• Develop and then continually increase the level of professional knowledge about lighting products in order to better sell to and service professionals and their clients
• Completing all aspects of lighting orders and confirming material arrival and delivery
• Assisting in showroom promotions and events
• Following up on orders, including status, availability and communicating the same effectively with the client and customers
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all Passion Lighting personnel, as well as prospective customers and clients

We look for Salespeople with strong communication skills, an upbeat attitude and the ability to multitask proficiently.

• Ability to write effective business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of professionals, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data as well as calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages
• Highly organized
• A strong and effective ability to multitask
• Effective knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and general internet competency
