About the Studio Art M.F.A. Program

The UNT CVAD Department of Studio Art is dedicated to nurturing students' intellectual and creative growth, cultivating their artistic practice, and equipping them for a lifetime of achievement and impactful contributions as cultural innovators. We offer robust support through competitive fellowships, individual studio spaces, in-state tuition, and opportunities for students to serve as teaching assistants, teaching fellows, or graduate assistants.

Our program encourages a diverse range of artistic exploration, welcoming students into various areas of study, including ceramics, drawing and painting, metalsmithing and jewelry, new media, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Join us and shape your creative future in a vibrant and dynamic artistic community.
