I love to create. Growing up, I was always building Legos and doing arts and crafts. This love for using my hands to make something out of nothing sparked a passion inside me to turn creativity into a career. At first, I wasn’t sure what path to take — I thought architecture was the right direction, but an interior design contest I entered, and won first place in, completely changed my perspective. As a senior in UNT’s Interior Design program, I am ready to take everything I’ve learned and apply it in the real world.

Over these four years, I’ve learned so much — not only about the industry and countless codes, but also about myself. I’ve developed better work habits and turned that creative spark into a full flame for design!

NextGen Enrichment Center
The concept for the NextGen Enrichment Center focuses on transforming an existing building into an inclusive, community-centered space that supports connection, growth and engagement. The primary purpose of the space is to give the next generation a place to disconnect from constant technology and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings.

The layout features open collaborative zones, flexible activity areas, and mentorship spaces that encourage social interaction and generational connection. Through thoughtful planning and adaptable spaces, NextGen creates a supportive environment where young people can learn, build relationships, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
