My love for interior design is rooted in human connection and understanding. When designing a space, I like to think about who is going to be occupying it, what challenges they may have, and how I can give them the best experience possible. Being a problem solver makes completing a project much more rewarding, especially when you are creating a unique solution. What I love about the industry is the difference in work-life compared to my short career as a public accountant. I enjoy the constant change of day-to-day duties, the collaboration between teammates, and the connection to the client.

Serving two years as a leader of UNT’s Interior Design Student Alliance has been such a rewarding and educational experience, allowing me to create many relationships with a lot of great people in the industry, which I hope to continue into post-graduation.

Sensory design directs materials and ceiling features, aiding in wayfinding and balancing hypo- and hyper-sensitivities of those on the spectrum.
