Design, to me, is a universal language that communicates empathy through shaping environments where people feel included. As the saying goes, ''to be loved is to be seen," and that belief has formed my approach to creating spaces that improve people's lives and make them feel valued.

The Interior Design program at UNT has strengthened my design foundation through classes where we explored design principles, space planning, and FF&E application using research to develop inhabitable spaces. We were gifted with faculty and mentors who were a wealth of knowledge, and IDSA, a networking organization that strengthened bonds between students and industry professionals.

My goal as an emerging designer is to make beautiful interiors accessible to all marginalized communities and be a part of the new generation that bridges the gap between the fortunate and the underrepresented. As my career advances, I hope to become an educator to continue my mission of spreading positivity.
