What makes me a designer is an insatiable curiosity for learning how things work and why. The transformation of spaces from start to finish is a process that deeply fascinates me and gives me the opportunity to utilize both technical and creative skills. I am passionate about shaping spaces as vessels for human experience, connection, and enjoyment beyond basic functionality.

During my time at the UNT, I have learned to approach projects with both creativity and technical strategy. Studio projects have taught me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and research-driven design. I have developed skills in space planning, conceptual design, ceiling and lighting planning, material selection, and multiple software platforms.

After graduation, I intend to join a commercial design firm specializing in hospitality in order to follow my interests in hotel and retail design. Additionally, I plan to continue studying lighting design as another specialization. I aim to enhance the world with beauty, efficiency and functionality.

Elm Street Collective
Elm Street Collective is a welcoming hub where community, creativity, and cultural appreciation can thrive. Rooted in Denton’s rich arts and music culture, the space supports local performances while also offering a comfortable place to meet friends, study, or work at an easy pace. By balancing lively energy with cozy, focused areas, the design allows the venue to shift from a relaxed coworking spot to an intimate performance setting. At its heart, the space is envisioned as a refined yet approachable gathering place — an extension of the community where creativity and connection feel effortless and at home.
