As an interior designer graduating from UNT, I am passionate about how interior environments shape human comfort, emotion, and connection. I believe every space has the power to influence how people feel and thrive.

Recognized for my initiative, positivity, kindness, and curiosity, I value collaboration and believe that a creative, supportive environment leads to collective success. Upon graduation, I’m eager to explore different disciplines within interior design while continuing to grow my skills.

I have a strong passion for furniture design, and having built several pieces myself has deepened my understanding of the relationship between furniture and people. Being from Colombia, I bring a multicultural perspective and strong communication skills, as well as fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish and English. I’m seeking a place in the design industry where I can learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful, human-centered design.

The Pause, corporate wellness studio. Energy pods room and breakroom renders. Annotated floor plan.

The Pause is a corporate wellness studio for 24-hour broadcast employees, especially shift workers whose circadian rhythms are disrupted. It focuses on nervous system regulation and alignment to support performance and well-being. Using human-centric lighting, controlled acoustics, and sensory spaces, energy pods, and biophilic materials, it contrasts with the fast-paced mother's newsroom. The layout separates activation and restoration room zones, including focus rooms, energy pods, a mother's room, and a nourishment-centered breakroom. The Pause acts as a restorative workplace infrastructure, helping employees reset, regain clarity, and sustain cognitive performance.
