Growing up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Madeleine Hale spent much of her childhood visiting the University of North Texas campus, where both of her parents worked, making her decision to attend UNT especially meaningful. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a design career with womenswear brands she admires, including For Love & Lemons, LoveShackFancy, Selkie or Lace Made. She is also interested in building a career as an independent fashion content creator, blending her interests in design and digital storytelling. Her senior dress collection is titled “Enchanted Wandering.”

This collection lets the wearer drift between fantasy and fashion history — a romantic collection where corseted silhouettes, cascading satin and delicate floral fabrics evoke the feeling of stepping into a storybook world. Soft blush palettes and theatrical proportions transform each garment into a character of its own, balancing nostalgia with contemporary craftsmanship. From structured bodices to flowing skirts, the collection explores escapism through texture, movement and detail — inviting the wearer to wander somewhere magical.
