Ben Arevalo is a fashion designer from Harker Heights, Texas. In addition to earning a B.F.A. in Fashion Design, he has a minor in Fashion Merchandising. His work explores the intersection of concept and wearability, often treating garments as wearable art. His senior collection, "Worst Dressed Competition," challenges traditional ideas of taste and status in fashion through humor, experimentation, and exaggerated design. Inspired by menswear but not bound by its rules, Arevalo aims to bring a fresh perspective to the industry and hopes to become a Creative Director for a major menswear brand. At the core of his work is a simple belief: fashion should be fun.
