I am driven by a desire to design thoughtful, human-centered experiences that meaningfully improve everyday life. As an emerging UX designer, I aim to create broadly informed, intuitive solutions grounded in research and empathy, with a focus on travel and sustainability. Ultimately, I strive to design systems that encourage responsible exploration and more conscious, accessible ways of engaging with the world.

3 images that depict various views of a birthing room are depicted in a composite. Each image portrays a room with plush, light-brown furniture and soft lighting. The headline “Comfort Care” appears at lower left with caption copy beneath it.

“Rooted” is an app and web presence designed to facilitate ethical travel by promoting travel experiences that are supported by local individuals and the communities within which they work and live. Key aspects of its essential features and the functions they enable are informed by concepts such as decolonization.

A red-haired woman wearing glasses is pictured sitting at a table with a bowl of cereal and banana slices set in front of her. Other specially abled people are depicted in a large, open room behind her.I co-led three design teams during the development of a series of personal use products intended to make meeting the challenges inherent in daily living — eating, personal hygiene and lavatory use — easier for specially abled individuals.

A smartphone screen on the right shows small photos of people and places in southern Mexico, set against a larger village street scene. The headline “Rooted” appears at the lower left above caption text.I collaborated with a team of UX designers, OB-GYN caregivers, and mothers to re-imagine and then re-design a more physically and psychologically comfortable space within which birthing experiences could transpire.
