Kaitlyn Minney is a concept-driven designer who creates work rooted in empathy and emotional connection. Her approach is grounded in designing experiences that feel honest, welcoming, and intentional. She works from the inside out, translating how a brand wants people to feel into visual systems that reflect that reality. Her goal is to make people feel seen and to make brands feel human. When Kaitlyn is not designing, she's either watching Dance Moms, thrifting with friends, or absolutely breaking it down on the dancefloor.

Redesign of BirdieBox in dark and light blue and white. This logo redesign reimagines BirdieBox, a corporate gifting service, as a brand that seamlessly blends luxury with personalization at scale. The visual identity centers on a custom mark that integrates a bird and ribbon, symbolizing both the swiftness of delivery and the thoughtful, tailored experience behind each gift. A refined color palette and delicate detailing elevate the brand’s sense of sophistication, positioning BirdieBox as both efficient and high-end. The result is a contemporary, memorable identity that strengthens the company’s presence and appeal within the corporate gifting market.

Editorial redesign of Patron magazine. This editorial design for Patron magazine features the work of Slovakian photographer Maria Svarbova. Inspired by her themes of sterility, symmetry, and stoicism, the layouts use restrained sans-serif typography, generous white space, and carefully structured compositions to echo the stillness and precision of her imagery. A custom headline treatment constructed from pool tiles directly references her subject matter, while red pull quotes isolated in negative space mirror the placement of swimmers in her photographs, reinforcing a sense of balance and quiet tension throughout the spreads. The result is a cohesive editorial piece that closely reflects Svarbova’s visual style while creating a clear and engaging reading experience.

A Valentine’s Day campaign for Trader Joe’s store. This Valentine’s Day campaign for Trader Joe’s, Love, Joe, reimagines the holiday as an inclusive moment of appreciation beyond romantic relationships. The concept introduces curated, ready-to-go gift baskets designed for different types of love, including self-care, friendships, and romantic partners, making thoughtful gifting both accessible and time-efficient. Each basket pairs staple items like wine and chocolate with a distinct addition, creating a tailored experience for each recipient. A hand-drawn pattern inspired by cocoa beans and flowers unifies the system, adding a personal, tactile quality. The result is a cohesive campaign that balances convenience with intention, positioning Trader Joe’s as a go-to destination for meaningful Valentine's Day gifts.
