I am a designer and artist driven by curiosity. I love using visual language to shape understanding, garner emotion, and weave authentic narratives, whether that is creating brand identities, editorial, or packaging design.

I approach my craft as an exploration through the process of experimenting, asking many questions, and embracing the unexpected. Because of my fine art background, I’m also energized by the texture, imperfection, and intuition of analog techniques. Methods like–but not limited to– spray paint, ink, oil paint, and cyanotype photography have been sources and outlets of this energy in my design work.

When I’m not designing, drawing or painting, you can find me enjoying a book, playing guitar, or exploring new places — with my camera in hand. All of these play a role in how I feel, see and create. I am always looking for new truths and visuals to weave into my work.

Various images of a country restaurant.Babe's Chicken Dinner House was founded in Roanoke, Texas, in 1993 and takes pride in its Southern hospitality and historic buildings, so I made it my goal to stay true to those values. Inspired by old barn signage and lettering, I created a recognizable logotype, hand-drawn illustrations, and a range of products that fit within the world of homestyle southern cookin’.

""The goal was to create an eight-page spread publication on the subject of my choice with consistent systems and eye-catching spread pacing.
I drew inspiration from vintage advertisements and shoe design to create a unique way to showcase New Balance’s footwear history and its influence on fashion and culture.

"""Dune" is one of my all-time favorite book series, so I was inspired to create a book cover that does justice to its subtle themes and intricate world-building. For this cover, I used my knowledge of the story and additional research to illustrate a cinematic scene depicting the world of "Dune" in oil paint. The analog method creates depth and tactility that lends itself well to this book, resulting in mesmerizing textures and movement. I used sci-fi-inspired typography and layout to bring the cover to life and guide the intended readers’ eyes down the cover.

""For this entrepreneurial campaign, I created a Christian apparel brand, Made for More, with fresh design choices that also function as a way to fashionably spread the Christian Gospel. Many Christian apparel brands fall into the trap of using trendy, soon-outdated designs and “feel-good” phrases that aren’t necessarily biblical. By using strong grid systems, nature-driven illustrations, and direct verses from the Bible, I ensured this brand does not sacrifice values for aesthetics. Final deliverables included a logomark, shirt and hoodie designs, event signage, posters, journals, social media posts, and carefully curated photography that reflects what the brand stands for.

""The objective of this packaging redesign was to develop a new way to house Winsor & Newton’s Promarkers alcohol markers that would remain recyclable and become even more user-friendly. I scanned marker swatches to display two different color sets and mocked these up on 100% recyclable paper tubes.
