Hello, I'm William! I'm a designer who loves visual texture, analog typography, and motion graphics. During my time at UNT, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for every facet of graphic design, with a particular interest in publication and branding. As I’ve worked through different projects, I’ve learned how much I enjoy the hands‑on parts of the process, especially when I’m experimenting with type, layout, or materials. Those moments remind me why I was drawn to design in the first place.

I’m excited to build my career on the foundation of my education and the experiences that shaped me along the way. I want to create work that feels honest and considered, and I hope to keep learning from the people around me. My goal is to fill the world with good design and to support others who want to do the same.
"" In the U.S., origami is often seen as a children’s craft, associated with paper planes and simple folded forms. This poster series aims to reframe it as a sophisticated art form deserving adult recognition.

Through experimentation, cyanotype emerged as a compelling way to reveal origami’s hidden complexity. The paper was treated, folded, exposed to UV light, and then unfolded, producing intricate patterns that highlight the contrast between the full sheet and the limited surface visible when folded.

A second method presented origami as an X-ray. Transparent folded forms were exposed over cyanotype, capturing interior creases that are typically concealed. This approach emphasizes the structural depth and precision involved in the practice.

The final series consists of four cohesive posters. Three feature distinct compositions, while the fourth unifies them in a composite layout. Together, they invite viewers to reconsider origami, appreciate its craftsmanship, and recognize the artistry behind each fold.
Rebrand project for Half-Price Books. In this rebrand for Half Price Books, my research showed that the brand has struggled to attract younger audiences as e-books and digital media grow in popularity. The rebrand introduces a cohesive visual system with illustrated elements, vibrant color, and flexible applications to resonate with Generation Z and Alpha. While still honoring the company's values, the rebrand turns Half Price Books into a unique experience rather than just another bookstore.

A cookbook project. Conchiglie & Cannonau is a cookbook that shares unique pasta recipes while teaching readers how to pair wine with each dish. The design uses a simple illustration style and color-coded sections to intuitively guide readers while reinforcing the relationship between flavor and visual tone. Each page invites readers to explore new combinations with confidence. The structure makes the content easy to navigate, encouraging both quick reference and deeper learning. Clear visual cues help readers understand why certain flavors work together, not just what to pair. The result is a cookbook that feels both instructional and exploratory, supporting creativity in the kitchen.
