I have always deeply appreciated the visual arts, but the realization of interior design's versatility and impact on communities excited me and drew me in. The ability to shape spaces that enhance experiences and improve well-being inspires me to pursue this field. 

The Interior Design program at UNT — and the community I found through the Interior Design Student Alliance — provided the soil where my passion for design could take root and thrive. Surrounded by innovative peers, dedicated faculty, and opportunities that challenged me to grow, I developed a deeper understanding of how thoughtful design shapes lives.

Through hands-on projects and real-world connections, I’ve cultivated both technical skill and creative confidence. I’m especially drawn to healthcare design, where I hope to contribute meaningful, human-centered spaces. As I continue my journey, I plan to pursue NCIDQ certification and explore new ways to grow as both a designer and a changemaker.

Wherever the path leads, I’ll carry the strong foundation and design values that blossomed at UNT.
