I have always enjoyed organizing; sometimes, I look forward to cleaning my room just because it means I get to make everything look neat. Although this is a small portion of interior design, creating beautiful and aesthetically pleasing spaces drew me in. Now, I want to further plant myself in this career to not only create beautiful spaces but to help people with them, merging form and function. I love that I get the chance to both aid and create in this field.

UNT has given me lifelong connections that I will forever hold dear. The friends I have made here have helped me grow as a designer and challenged my ways of thinking and designing; without them, I do not think I would be half the designer I am today. Exposure to different viewpoints and designs is crucial in developing solutions as it allows you to view your work through new perspectives and develop designs with new attributes that would otherwise not be included. After blooming at UNT, I hope to be planted in a sector that allows me to show my creative side once again. I strive to one day work on museums, art galleries, and libraries, but I can find a content home in commercial and retail spaces as well.
