Ever since I was young, I was captivated by a magazine filled with home designs in every color of the rainbow — I must have reread it a hundred times. From the moment that magazine was placed in front of me, I knew design was what I wanted to pursue. I have always been drawn to the idea that design is the intersection of art, nature, and psychology. It has the power to evoke emotions, influence moods, and shape the way we experience the world around us. Design is everywhere — whether in the thoughtful integration of color, texture, light, and form or in the natural world, from shifting clouds to the changing colors of trees. Everything, both manufactured and natural, is intentionally designed to work together, honoring the past, present, and future.

UNT has provided me with the space, tools, and mentorship to shape me into the designer I am today. Through late nights, long hours in the studio, and the incredible opportunities this program has offered, I have developed a deeper understanding of the profound impact design has on people's lives. I am excited to step into the professional world and contribute to a design community that values innovation, human-centered solutions, and the power of storytelling through space!
