My passion for design took root with an early appreciation for furniture design. I was fascinated by the idea that you can create anything you envision — shaping materials, forms, and textures into furniture that is both beautiful and functional. That curiosity quickly grew into a love for interior design, where I could bring entire spaces to life by curating elements that enhance both beauty and function. For me, design is not just about aesthetics; it is about creating environments that evoke emotion and transform the way people experience a space.

My time at UNT has been a transformative journey, allowing me to grow both creatively and technically as a designer. The program’s dynamic curriculum, hands-on projects, and mentorship from inspiring professors have challenged me to think critically and push the boundaries of my creativity. Surrounded by a collaborative and innovative community, I have been able to refine my design voice and develop a deeper understanding of how thoughtful design can shape meaningful spaces.
