About Me: Vy Luu, an Asian-American designer, graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and a Minor in Merchandising. She has obtained skills over the past few years that create designs which are meant to define persona and confidence. Luu's work revolves around music and culture. She gains inspiration from K-pop, Western pop, and her experiences growing up as an Asian-American, believing that people shouldn't have to divide themselves and choose one side when they can embrace everything. In addition, divine feminine, the concept in which a woman achieves her goddess energy when her light and dark feminine reaches a balance, is heavily shown in Luu's designs and the message she wants to send out to women: to push against gender norms and be bold, confident, and independent.
