About Me: I have been sewing and designing for nearly a decade, being taught both in school and by professional seamstresses. The education I have received since entering the University of North Texas has prepared me for a position like this. Having taken multiple patternmaking and sewing classes, as well as classes on draping, and illustration. technical design, tech-wear, accessory design, and textiles, my knowledge of fashion design and its ins and outs is very robust. Along with these classes, I have developed skills in Adobe Suite, laser cutting, 3D printing, and Gerber Accumark. Additionally, I have assisted in the planning and execution of multiple fashion shows along with the design and construction of various garments for the Opera Department of my school. My work with individual clients shows my ability to collaborate with individuals to help produce their ideal garments while still retaining my personal style.
