Kogi is a Mexican-Korean fusion food truck/restaurant founded by Roy Choi in Los Angelies.
I developed a bold brand identity that captures the energetic, playful spirit of Kogi’s
street-food culture. The custom typography and dynamic illustrations reflect the vibrant
fusion of flavors, while multilingual copy in Hangul, Spanish, and English, inspired
by authentic cultural phrases, enhances the brand's lively, fun, and culturally rooted
vibe.
Refining Daneson’s brand identity involved elevating the humble toothpick into a symbol
of sophistication. Through refined imagery, minimalist design, and ingredient-driven
visuals, I crafted a sensory narrative that highlights Daneson’s artisanal process
and luxurious appeal.
Located in Pelham, Tennessee, The Caverns is a world-renowned music venue and campground
set inside an ancient cave system. This branding project uses flowing, cave-inspired
forms and bold psychedelic colors to capture the venue’s immersive underground concerts
and dreamlike atmosphere, positioning it as a one-of-a-kind destination for music
and adventure.
Placebos Mints is a playful brand offering stress-relief mints for hyper-specific scenarios, using humor and mindfulness to ease everyday struggles. I designed ads for three flavors — Relief from Mansplaining, Parenting Exhaustion, and Academic Overwhelm — using staggered, grungy typography to reflect the chaos of each situation and emphasize the need for humorous, bite-sized relief.
Inspired by Corita Kent’s Rule 1, this risograph-printed poster and animation reflect
the trusted spaces where I feel most present—places for making art, doing homework,
and listening to music. Using personal photography, layered textures, and warm tones,
the project honors the quiet, supportive role these environments play in creativity
and self-trust.
