I think the reason I got into design was that I really loved the idea of making with a purpose. As much as I do love art, I felt like the opportunity to visually communicate through design called to me because the idea that something I made could catalyze change was and still is pretty dang cool. When I am not designing (rare), I enjoy collecting and listening to vinyl records, drawing bugs (I really like bugs), and drinking a ridiculous amount of iced coffee.
