Go Studio in Dallas is looking for 1-2 full-time entry-level designers as immediate
needs. Go Studio is a corporate interior design firm with a special emphasis on Tenant
Development. We serve a variety of
clients and buildings, design a vast assortment of spaces that range in size and scope,
and address a wide range of budgets and timelines. Our clients include building owners,
property managers, leasing agents, and end-users (tenants and independent corporate
clients).
Go Studio was founded in 2002 by UNT alumna Bretta Maldonado. Our office is in Downtown Dallas, located in the One Main Place building with underground garage parking, great access to food and drinks on Main and Elm Streets, and a close walk to DART.
Go Studio is a great place for a young designer who wants to gain comprehensive knowledge and skills as a corporate interior designer. Someone who wants to work in a firm that helps you develop as a designer creatively with design development, technically by producing construction drawings and understanding code through firsthand construction experience through field verifications of project sites, to learning how to build client relationships by being a part of meetings.

Qualifications
Graduate with a four-year degree from an interior design program accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, CIDA.
Preferred work experience

Responsibilities
As a Junior Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design team in
creating innovative and functional interior spaces for our clients.
Working closely with Project Coordinators and Project Managers, your main responsibility
is tenant development design production. This position offers an excellent opportunity
for growth and skill development within the commercial interior design industry.
A Junior Designer will perform some or all of the following tasks under direct supervision by senior staff members:
- CAD production (including as-builts, space plans, pricing plans, construction documents, marketing plans, lease exhibits, square footage calculations, file translations and the like) utilizing Go Studio standards
- Non-content related peer review of other's construction documents
- Field verification
- Assistance with finish selections and palette presentations, both virtually and in-person
- Research (including code compliance, finishes, products and materials, and the like)
- Vendor coordination
- Assist with Library and Archiving Maintenance
Skills
Basic computer skills, including knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Suites or Bluebeam, Microsoft
Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or equivalent.
*Graphics and/or rendering capabilities a plus
Hours
Office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility is available with approval from the supervisor.
Compensation
Full-time positions are salary-based, commensurate with experience. Full-time positions include insurance benefits, a SIMPLE IRA plan, a rotating Friday off schedule, on-site parking garage / public transportation coverage, and bonus opportunities.
