Indeco Sales Seeks Two Interior Design Interns

Indeco Sales is looking to hire two interns as immediate needs during their final school year. This position will require the individual to drive to our office one to three days a week in Irving, Texas, and to client meetings.

They are looking for two interns to hire them for full-time positions after graduation. This internship would likely be for experience only, as we do not have a licensed interior designer in our Dallas office. We are looking for immediate start dates.

Indeco is a K-12 furniture dealership. We help clients (school districts) by furnishing beautiful schools to enhance the learning experience for children.

Hours

16-24 hours/week or more if the individuals want.

Compensation

$20/hour

Qualifications

Senior year of college/university

Responsibilities

• Attend initial client meetings with a salesperson to gather programming data.
• Help to develop sales strategy as appropriate.
• Develop block plans, layouts and specifications and check all plans for design integrity, completeness, and compliance with CAD/ADA requirements.
• Create presentation boards and sales tools.
• Assist sales with finish selections and client presentations.
• Participate in reviewing post-occupancy evaluation and punch list.
• Maintain current knowledge of the industry products, methods, promotional strategies, and design trends.
• Work with A&D firms on furniture and finish selections.

Skills

Experience in design software. We will provide training on CET, Indeco Sales' main program, and others.
