New Scholarship Opportunity: Diversity in Design Pipeline by Thermador® and IDS

Deadline: July 18, 2021  |  Application: Thermador Diversity in Design Pipeline web page

The Diversity in Design Pipeline Initiative is a brand-new scholarship program developed by Thermador® and the Interior Design Society. In partnership with IDS, Thermador® is launching this initiative to address the urgent lack of diversity within the interior design career field by supporting students from underrepresented communities through a nationwide scholarship and mentoring program.

The scholarship will provide five $10,000 tuition scholarships to college seniors entering their final year, as well as pair each recipient with a certified interior designer as a mentor to help kick-start their career. The application requires an essay, a letter of recommendation, examples of their work, and a transcript.

Interior design students from underrepresented communities with an interest in kitchen and bath design can apply for this program. Students must be entering their senior year and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
