Interior design students participate in the Kimball International all-day student competition

Interior design students participated in an all-day student design competition hosted by Kimball International based in Jasper, Indiana, on Sept. 13 at the Dallas Kimball International Showroom.

CVAD Interior Design Students joined forces with students from other interior design programs in the Dallas-Fort Worth region to compete in the PRELUDE design competition hosted by Kimball International. Within one day, students were charged with designing a studio classroom and professor's office, considering equity, inclusion, sustainability, and end users' mental and physical well-being. Coached through the day by design professionals from Kimball on their product, the designs required the incorporation of Kimball International furniture to create the space. Each team presented its final design.
