CVAD Fashion Designers present at the ITAA annual conference

The 2024 annual conference of the International Textile and Apparel Association, held from November 20–30 in Long Beach, California, embraced the theme “Making Waves Towards a Sustainable and Equitable Future.” At this prestigious event, CVAD Fashion Design faculty and students showcased their innovative research and outstanding designs.
Key highlights from the conference include poster presentations and exhibitions by both faculty and students. Notable achievements include Assistant Professor Jeremy Bernardoni receiving a Paper of Distinction Award in the Pedagogy and Professional Development Track and graduate student Lasya Aji Silpa for earning the esteemed ITAA Award for Creative and Innovative Employment of Techniques – Graduate.
The ITAA is a professional and educational organization that fosters the discovery, dissemination, and application of knowledge in textile and apparel disciplines. Comprising scholars, educators, and students in higher education, the association serves as a vital resource for advancing leadership and service to society.
