Terence Reynolds, ’81, B.F.A., Art, will be inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s 10th District Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame!
 
A true creative powerhouse, Reynolds has shaped some of the world’s most recognizable brands, from Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Hyundai, and Zales to Ulta Beauty, Summer’s Eve, The Patrón Spirits Company, and Metro PCS. His award-winning work continues to leave an impact on national and international stages, proving that creativity and business acumen can go hand in hand.
 
Beyond his impressive career, Reynolds is a passionate advocate for CVAD. Since joining the CVAD Advancement Board, he has generously contributed his time, influence, and financial support to advance its mission. Reynolds has consistently raised awareness about CVAD’s programs, students, and initiatives. His dedication to creating opportunities and elevating the next generation of artists and designers makes a lasting impact on the CVAD community.
 
As co-founder of Shift Advertising, the urban marketing arm of The Richards Group, known as TRG, Reynolds helped redefine brand storytelling for Dr Pepper, Hyundai, and Absolut Vodka. Before that, he played a pivotal role at Pyro, transforming Hummer into an iconic, sought-after brand while creating memorable campaigns for Dr. Martens, id Software, Oxygen Inline Skates, and the Dallas Mavericks. His journey started in Southern California, where he honed his skills at agencies like Foote, Cone & Belding (Mazda) and GSD&M (Southwest Airlines, Walmart).
 
We celebrate this well-deserved honor and Reynold’s ongoing impact on the creative world and the CVAD community! 
 
The honorees will be inducted April 11, 2025, 5 p.m., at the Arlington Hilton, Arlington, Texas.
