About Me: As a recent graduate of the University of North Texas with a minor in marketing, designer Andrew Tan Tran has acquired skills in flat patternmaking, draping, and industrial garment construction. These skills allow him to express his creativity, take a concept and turn it into a wearable piece of art. He is experienced in fashion illustration, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, which allowed him to clearly communicate his vision to any audience.

His design aesthetic is inspired by historical fashion with its silhouettes and sewing techniques which are showcased in his modern dresses and costumes. His illustrations come alive through storytelling, and attention to detail, in his watercolor and pencil illustrations. His creative designs comprise elegant usage of embroidery and surface design which creates a statement for the wearer.
