The UNT Counseling and Human Development Center welcomes students and non-students!

Decorative image for the Counseling and Human Development OfficeThe Counseling and Human Development Center, part of the College of Education, is a vital resource for supporting students' and community members' mental health and well-being.

As a training clinic for counseling master’s and doctoral students, the center provides these future counselors with valuable, hands-on experience while offering crucial mental health services. Each session is guided by student counselors closely supervised by licensed professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care.

College life sometimes comes with challenges, and the center's counselors are available to help ensure every student has access to the support they need. To make these services accessible, student counseling sessions are just $5 per session, so financial concerns don't stand in the way of getting help. Additionally, the center offers services to non-students in the community, with fees based on a sliding scale to accommodate different financial situations.
