Scholarships: Gift Aid You Do Not Pay Back

Scholarships are a great way to help pay for college, and the best part is, unlike student loans, you don’t have to pay them back! Plus, you can combine them with other types of financial aid to cover the full cost of your education.

At UNT, we offer thousands of scholarships every year — not just for students with top grades or high test scores, but for so many other reasons too!

Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of factors beyond academics, like athletic skills, artistic talent, or involvement in specific areas of study. There are also opportunities for students who shine in extracurricular activities, belong to certain groups, or demonstrate financial need.

Take a moment to explore the wide range of scholarships available at UNT and through CVAD to find the ones that match your passions and qualifications!

To apply for scholarships, UNT students must sign in to the Scholarships portal page with their EUID and password. Once signed in, students must complete the short General Application. Once submitted, the applicant will automatically be matched to scholarship opportunities for which they qualify. No further action is required to be considered for these auto-match scholarships.

You may be prompted to submit additional applications for other scholarship opportunities that require additional information. We encourage you to submit any additional applications and review your Other Recommended Opportunities to be considered for the most scholarship opportunities possible.
