About Me
Hola, my name is Jacqueline. I’m originally from León, Guanajuato, Mexico, but I was raised in the best state in the U.S.: Texas! I once wrote in my 4th-grade journal that I wanted to become a lawyer, a famous person or a Crayola factory scientist. It’s safe to say I made the right choice for my college major, because User Experience Design is just about as close as it gets to being a Crayola factory scientist, using a combination of analytical skills and understanding of human behaviors as lawyers do — only not in a court of law!
My work derives from my very own upbringing and culture. I take inspiration from social, political and environmental issues that are meaningful to me and that I feel are worth diving a bit more into as I attempt to change these for the better. I plan to create work that adds value to peoples’ lives no matter how big or small the measure of this value may be. If I’m not in front of a computer, I’m more than likely to be found in the gym powerlifting, coaching or selling delicious-and-authentic Mexican tacos.
