About Me: I consider myself equal parts artist and designer, my background is in the visual arts (specifically ceramics), and this influence is truly seen in my work. I love understanding people's tactile interactions with systems in their everyday lives.
My favorite part of User Experience Design is the process. Creating something from a few baseline ideas and mapping out user desires drives my creativity. I love researching people's motivations and true needs.
A personal quality that has pushed my design to another level is that I consider myself a listener, which I continually have used to understand the world around me. I am adept at reading situations and figuring out people's passions and goals. I want my work to continually improve others' lives and maintain an empathetic approach.

User Experience Design editorial volumes discuss the importance of design within our everyday lives.
The UNT We Mean Green campus compost initiative was created to understand and support students' desires to have a green footprint on their university campus by creating a holistic, incentive-based approach to environmentalism.
