In 2016 as I finished my time with the military I found myself with something of a fortunate opportunity in that I had made the decision to go back to school to get my degree in... well something. At the time I began that journey going for an Associate of Science in Digital Media due to a large interest in digital production as well as web development that I fostered in high school. But then life got in the way as it tends to and I transferred to UNT in 2017 with only my certificate in digital media production. After learning about the UX program it became this new option for me that would allow me to not only lean into old interests that I had begun to grow but also would allow me to utilize some the critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong work ethic that the military helped me develop.
