Since I can remember, I loved drawing. Growing up, it was something I knew I loved to do. It was the only thing I felt I was good at, unlike my practical, scientifically and mathematically-inclined friends, who went into fields that I never was interested in going into. I got into design because it was the hard thing to do. I came to UNT only able to mindlessly mimic the work of other creators, something 4 years in the communication design program really changed. It fully shaped who I am and how I solve problems, and made me question the reasoning behind every choice I make.
