Carolyn Frani Interiors, LLC, Carolyn Frani, RID, NCIDQ, principal, is seeking an intern to work in the office with some work that will be remote due to Ms. Frani’s travel schedule to visit out-of-state clients and job sites. It's a one-on-one internship. Ms. Frani focuses on residential, commercial, and hospitality design. Ms. Frani has run her design business for more than 20 years, having originated in New York and moved to Texas a little over five years ago.

Requirements: Must have completed the AutoCAD course and be able to work AutoCAD, SketchUp, and occasionally Enscape or Photoshop without assistance. 

Position description: Work directly with the designer to take her hand-drafted sketches and plans and create CAD construction documentation. Occasional 3D modeling for ideation purposes and 3D rendering. Photoshop and PowerPoint are used to create product presentations/mood boards for clients. The intern also will contact distributors to confirm the dimensions of products, pricing, shipping timelines, place orders, etc.
