My name is Dina Eyob and I am a senior at the University of North Texas majoring in interior design. I’ve always wanted to be an architect but did not like math, at all, so interior design was the perfect solution to my “problem”. I always thought that I wanted to work in residential, but the projects that I have been working on have given me a newfound interest and respect for commercial design. My time at UNT has provided me with so many resources and opportunities to flourish as a person as well as a designer and further develop and gain so many skills. I have had a successful student career; I have met my closest friends through the interior design program and am excited to see what the future has in stored for me. Go mean green!

What’s something that is always on your work desk?

Pen, paper and MEASURING TAPE. I also have a small one I carry in my bag all the time. You don’t realize how much measuring you need to do it until you don’t have it.
