Thanks to UNT’s program, I have discovered my passion for the connection between people and the environment. I have learned about creating experiences for people through interior design. I am excited to work on service-oriented projects that promote sustainable design in the future. Participating in the Interior Design Student Alliance on campus for the first three years of my degree showed me the importance of collaborating with designers across the industry. This pushed me to run for Marketing Chair where I was able to lead members by promoting events through various media in order to keep members informed and involved. I am excited to join other industry organizations upon graduation.
