Studying at the University of North Texas has given me the reassurance that I am exactly where I need to be. I started my college career at Oklahoma State University studying nutrition and dietetics with the desire to help people in an efficient, healthy, and sustainable way. After a time of pursuing this, I still felt as though there was something missing, and I could truly help others well-being in a more impactful way. Thanks to the Interior Design program here at UNT, I have found that. Designing safe and sustainable spaces where people can perform at their highest in a positive environment has been extremely fulfilling. I am eager to have a hand in the industry’s impact on wellness and mindful design and continue learning through lessons and experience.
