What led you to pursue Interior Design?
My passion for helping people leads me to pursue interior design. I spent most of my summers with my grandparents in Mexico as a child. From an early age, I saw how space could impact humans' lives. It can mentally, physically and emotionally affect individuals. Design can improve our way of living; it is art, functionality, and innovation.

What are your hopes for the future of design?
My hope for the future of design with what the world is becoming is to create healthy and safe spaces — a place where at the end of class, students could go back home to their loved ones. A place where our doctors and nurses can perform to their full potential in any emergency without space being a setback. A place where kids can enjoy their learning environments and become great people in the future. A world that has endless years of life because our designers/architects are utilizing sustainable and local products to not only support the community but to improve the health of our planet.
