About Me

Howdy! I’m Mai-Linh (pronounced MY Lin), and I’ve been passionately creating my whole life, expressing myself through crafting, music, performance, and now design. Communication design lets me put my empathy skills to work, and I love creating work that is human-centric and friendly. Authenticity is very important to me, and I strive to emulate it in my life and through my projects. I aim to pursue a career in art direction post-graduation. When I’m not at my desk, you can find me at the rock climbing gym, two-stepping on the dance floor, or with my guitar in hand.

Favorite memory in the Communication Design program?

Late night work sessions with my classmates in the Comm. Design Discord server. We know how to work hard and have fun! Also, ending semesters in Karen Dorff’s classes with her baked goods.
