Auction of art by Professor Emeritus Jack Sprague to benefit scholarships for communication design students
Feb. 25, 2022: Today, we highlight and appreciate Douglas J. “Jack” Sprague, professor emeritus, creative director, art director, communication designer, architect and artist for his continued support of CVAD students.
Teaching communication design at UNT from 1990-2010, Jack Sprague was inspired to create a body of work for sale with 100% of the proceeds of the sales going to the Jack Sprague and Michael Estes Communication Design Scholarship Fund that he and his partner established in 2010.
Don’t miss the auction! Currently, for auction are pieces of Sprague’s body of work titled “American Indifference.” To view the pieces, visit the Sprague-Estes website at SpragueEstes.com, or visit the Ray and Georgia Gough Design Research Space in the UNT Art Building, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. until March 16, 2022.
