About Me: Moriah Thomas is a senior fashion design student at University of North Texas in Denton who has interned at APNY as an assistant to the designer and was a level one seamstress that conducted fittings at David’s Bridal. Her skills include how to pattern make, both on the computer and paper; sew, create a tech pack, research personas, alter and fit garments; and customer connection. She excels as a team player evidenced by her participation in UNT’s student collaborative sustainable garment presentation at the GlobalMind Conference of successful entrepreneurs. She is passionate about sustainable efforts, joy in clothing, and customizing clothing for an individual’s fit and style. Moriah has a profound love for the color yellow and black coffee. She enjoys adventuring out in nature to marvel at God’s awesome creation, watching comedies, strangely enjoys running, and most importantly, she strives to put God above all else (Psalms 63:3.)
