Griff's Hamburgers is a regional fast food chain founded in 1960 by Griff's of America, Inc. of Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Most of the stores were in high-traffic locations, such as near a highway off-ramp or along Route 66, but when Route 66 disappeared, griffs did as well. From several locations nationwide to only 11 left in select states, Griffs was dwindling in numbers. A redesign was needed to bring in more customers and possibly popularize griffs again. Changing the logo to be more readable and redesigning the mascot, Griffy, gives the brand a refreshing look reminiscent of the 60s era in which Griffs was founded.
SnoopDawgs is a pet care brand dedicated to crafting high-quality, hemp-infused dog treats that promote the health and well-being of pets. SnoopDawg's mission is to provide dogs with natural, effective, and tasty treats that provide the benefits of hemp while still ensuring safety and happiness. SnoopDawg focuses on supplying pets who suffer from arthritis, anxiety, and stress with an all-natural and effective hemp treat. SnoopDawgs is heavily inspired by the California Skater aesthetic and coincides with the skater stereotype of being “chill” or “laid-back," which is what SnoopDawgs wanted to portray in the brand: a chill and relaxed dog.
WEBB: The Future of The Past was made for children to understand the WEBB telescope in elementary terms. With colorful illustrations that immerse the reader, the WEBB telescope makes it easy to comprehend what it is and what it can do for the future of science. The book is also reflective of a 60s style book because of the simple illustrations in books during that time, which were lighthearted and whimsical, as well as recalling the space race era during that time, which felt appropriate for a science book for children about the WEBB Telescope.
Pavlov is designed for the benefit of dogs and their owners. Pavlov promotes the healthcare of pets by providing a habit-tracking app, notifying them when it’s time for daily tasks such as walking, feeding, and medications. With Pavlov, man and man’s best friend can thrive together. This app was made with the owner and dog in mind. The app keeps track of daily needs that may sometimes slip the owner's mind, such as dinner time. The app can also recognize patterns in dogs' behaviors, such as eating less than the day before. Pavlov tracks all information input, stores it, and gives easy visuals to the owners of their pet's health data.
Presley Slab is a typeface turned micro-site intended for graphic designers to purchase the font. The site markets towards the “Presley” theme of Las Vegas, with LED signs and bright nighttime life. Las Vegas was the sole inspiration for the micro-site, advertising the Presley Slab font as a staple of Elvis culture. Users can interact with the typeface, customizing size, baseline, and style. The “gamble” feature also allows the viewer to visualize the glyphs in the type set.
Cyberspace is a virtual playground and educational website for children to learn and practice internet safety. Through daily incentives such as minigames to earn currency for a cooler avatar and a monthly comic, children and their guardians can engage with Cyberspace.
