Dec. 8, 2020: Entry-Level Designer Position Available

Droese Raney, DR, is looking for a full-time entry-level designer as an immediate need. The ideal candidate would have an interest in a wide range of project types and willing to learn about all aspects of design and construction. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong design sensibilities to aid in the progression of our design studio.
 
DR is a full-service architecture and interior design firm specializing in a wide variety of work including retail, restaurant, commercial, and single-family residential projects. We work throughout Texas and across the US in cities such as New York and Los Angeles.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or Interior Design
Demonstrated design skills
Technical proficiency and creative problem solving
Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to work within a team

Responsibilities
Design of projects on a variety of scales
Preparation of Schematic Design presentations & material boards
Translation of design concepts into construction documents
Collaboration on Construction Documents and Construction Administration
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
Consultant coordination
Code research and land use feasibility
Highly self-motivated
Social media posting and documentation

Skills
Required: 
AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel
Preferred: Revit/BIM Production, Rendering Programs
