I grew up drawing. I knew I had to do something artistic or creative with my life when I grew up and discovered graphic design as a young adult. One of my favorite parts about visual storytelling is the history that every image holds. I love discovering references in art, music, and film and recognizing how creators build on the successes of the past and adapt them into new graphic forms.

What’s on your designer playlist?

My most listened-to artists are probably Lady Gaga, Brockhampton, Alex Cameron, Mariah Carey, and The Magnetic Fields. If I’m not listening to music, a good old true crime podcast pairs nicely with late night design time.
