I’ve been an artist my entire life, but my foray into graphic design began when I coded my Neopets page at the age of 10. I then began digitally painting in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. I love organizing and rethinking things, so my love of art quickly developed into a passion for graphic design. I’m notorious for puns, so I fell in love with branding and art direction in particular as a way to explore creative solutions. If I’m not redesigning an old project, I’m probably painting pet portraits or making stickers. Aside from design, I love house plants, dad jokes, and forest animals (like raccoons, opossums, and foxes). If I haven’t had coffee by noon, I’m probably having a bad day. I love to cook and always have garlic and cilantro in my kitchen. I firmly believe comedy podcasts can get you through anything. Don’t ever be afraid to make mistakes and ask questions; anything can be worth it if you learn from it..

What’s something that’s is always on your work desk?

Post it notes! I go through these like crazy. People give me post it notes as gifts. My brain runs a thousand miles a minute, so I’m always jotting down design project ideas and reminders on post-it notes both at home and at work. I even keep a stack of them on my nightstand!
