Lasya Aji Silpa is a fashion designer and researcher passionate about sustainable, inclusive, and culturally resonant fashion. Aji Silpa's work bridges traditional craftsmanship and modern design innovation. Her research focuses on the intersection of cultural symbolism, smart textiles, and sustainable fashion practices, exploring how design can foster emotional connections, reflect cultural narratives, and promote environmental responsibility.

Aji Silpa's projects have included pioneering studies on herbal and therapeutic clothing, eye-tracking use to analyze consumer emotions, and the impact of cultural symbols in fashion, as demonstrated in her thesis, "The Influence of Lotus Symbolism on Contemporary Fashion."

In her teaching, Silpa emphasizes 'Design for All,' creating a classroom environment where students feel represented and inspired to design with empathy and awareness. She is committed to advancing fashion that serves diverse communities and reflects the values of sustainability, innovation and inclusivity.
