Corgan seeks Student Interior Design Intern, Fall 2022

Corgan is recruiting students interested in an interior design internship for the Fall 2022 school term. The ideal candidate must be pursuing a professional, CIDA-accredited degree in interior design. Successful student interns at Corgan are team-oriented, highly motivated, and proactively seek more responsibility in their project assignments. Student interns will receive competitive compensation of $20 an hour and additional benefits. Corgan is an equal-opportunity employer.

About the Internship

• Explore and assist with generating timely and creative solutions for design tasks within the functional parameters of a project, translating concepts and information into images alongside one of our market sectors – aviation, workplace, healthcare, or education
• Participate in the process of exploring and completing usable construction documents detailing solutions within given parameters
• Incorporate established schematic design, material selections, code required clearances, spatial limitations, and production time constraints into detailing solutions
• Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing review, submittal review, and supplementary drawing development
• Opportunities to participate in community service events, team happy hours, lunch and learns from industry experts, our weekly design presentations at Forum, and other fun events!
