About Me

Howdy! My names Jonathan but most people call me Joni, I’m a graphic designer and aspiring animator in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I’ve always been interested in creating with my hands, but everything changed when I got a dinky little laptop with an apple logo on it. Going through the design program here at UNT has allowed me to meet some of my best friends and most inspiring professors. I was pushed to excel from what was expected of me and in the process find what I love about designing, again. College is hard but the sleepless nights were worth it, you develop a stronger bond with people when you’re all delirious at 3 in morning over a discord call. Communication design has me excited for what I can do in the future and hopefully I can get hired after I graduate which shouldn’t be too hard… right?
